Travel and adventure are at the top of the list of my favorite

- Moonlight
Canoeing On Canadice Lake. During the summer months, my
wife and I try to go canoeing on every full moon evening. Canadice
lake is our favorite destination for these trips because of its near
wilderness setting. There are no houses on its shore and motorized
boats are few and are required to have very small motors.
- Canoeing in
the St. Regis Canoe Area of Adirondack Park in Upstate New York.
This is an account of a canoe trip through a spectacular area where
no motorized boats are allowed. The peacefulness and serenity of the
St. Regis Canoe area is a rare and wonderful experience.
- Walking
Tours of Rochester, NY. Narrative descriptions of some of my
favorite Rochester walks.

Travel Technology
Taking it with you is a tradition in travel. Taking
technology on the road is getting easier as equipment become smaller
and lighter. |

Gastronomy
I love to prepare and eat great food. Consuming high
quality well prepared food from a wide range of cultures is a
sensuous gratifying experience. Visiting city markets,
creating recipes, consuming great food, and writing about those
experiences is one of my greatest pleasures. |
- Food Markets. Street
Markets, Farmer's Markets, and Central Markets are the cornucopias of
cities. In this series of articles I describe my favorite food
markets from around the world.
- Recipes. Original and
modified favorite recipes.

Hotels, restaurants, and other travel products and services don't
seem to receive the kind of critical examination that they should.
My reviews are those of a hard to satisfy curmudgeon. Give
that thought some consideration if you plan to use my reviews for
planning your own travel. |
