  • Caltech Today Streaming Theater.  "This site houses streaming video of many of the programs that were available to the Caltech community from 1999 to the present. Most of these events took place on campus in Beckman Auditorium, and feature Caltech faculty, students, or distinguished visiting speakers."
  • Learn Out Loud.  "Our mission is simple. We want to promote the use of audio and video educational material for personal and professional development. What does this means? It means that we want to help you to see how you can turn 'dead time' (time spent commuting, exercising, doing chores, etc.) into 'learning time.' Most of us have at least a couple of hours each day where we could be learning a foreign language, deepening our spiritual or philosophical interests or learning about any of hundreds of different subjects. We want to help you find material that is both entertaining and educational.

We encourage you to join us in Learning Out Loud. Through our site we will help you discover new content and ways to incorporate audio learning into your daily life. We invite you to check out all of the areas of our site including our catalog (with over 7,000 audio and video titles), our articles and our publisher and author resource pages. We also invite you to participate in our community through our blog, forums, newsletter and podcast.

LearnOutLoud.com is based in Santa Monica, California, an area of the country known for horrendous commute times. We're just getting going and hope to offer you a whole lot more in the future. We welcome you to contact us at any time with feedback, suggestions, business opportunities or anything else that you can think of. We're here to serve. Keep letting us know what we can do to help you better utilize the power of audio and video learning in your life!"  Comment:  Turn your iPod into an educational resource.
  • MIT OpenCourseWare.  "A free and open educational resource for faculty, students, and self-learners around the world. OCW supports MIT's mission to advance knowledge and education, and serve the world in the 21st century. It is true to MIT's values of excellence, innovation, and leadership."
    • MITWorld.  "MIT World™ is a free and open site that provides on-demand video of significant public events at MIT."  Comment:  Awesome!
  • University of California, Berkeley online classes through Google Video.  "The University of California, Berkeley is the preeminent public research and teaching institution in the nation . From classic literature to emerging technologies, the curricula of our 130 academic departments span the wide world of thought and knowledge. Supported by the people of California, the university has embraced public service as an essential part of its mission since 1868. The content on this page —drawn from campus seminars, courses and events—is just one part of UC Berkeley's commitment to the broadest possible dissemination of knowledge for the benefit of our state, the nation and the world."
  • TED.com.  Technology Entertainment Design (TED). Click on the "Ted Talks" link to see a list of lectures available from the last TED conference.  Start at the bottom and work up.  Each lecture is only 15 minutes long.  These are the most thought provoking, stimulating, and inspirational lectures I have every heard.
