Secret Guest Reviews
Customer comment cards are not enough. If you
really want to know how well your business if operating, you need
someone unknown to your staff to carefully observe, analyze, and report
what they see. That is my role as a secret guest reviewer. I
have yet to find a business that could not improve its service or
products. Businesses who use my data to make improvement will see
greater customer satisfaction.
As an example, hotels often install fluorescent lighting
in guest rooms to cut back on electricity and light bulb replacement
costs. Unfortunately, they must never have looked at themselves in
a bathroom lit by such lighting, especially in the morning. The
solution is simple and inexpensive. Keep the fluorescent fixtures,
just change the bulb. Full spectrum fluorescent bulbs provide
pleasing light and cost little more than standard bulbs. The
difference is startling. I can assure you than most women would
prefer would prefer to apply their make up under full spectrum lighting
than wear an expensive bathrobe. This is one of hundreds of ways
that hotels can make their guests more satisfied.
